The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine has announced a price increase for international Green Card insurance policies. Tariffs will increase as early as 20 May this year. So in the coming days, drivers will have the opportunity to purchase insurance at the old price and receive a special gift from Visit Ukraine.

How much will the Green Card cost after 20 May?

According to the official report of the MTIBU, the amount of single insurance premiums under contracts of international compulsory motor third party liability insurance for owners of land vehicles registered in Ukraine and valid in the territory of the member countries of the international automobile insurance system Green Card (except Belarus, Iran and Russia) will increase:

▶ For passenger cars with a passenger capacity of up to 9 people including the driver, and cars with a total weight of up to 3500 kg (letter A), the cost of insurance will be

▶ On the busi (letter E)  

▶ For lorries (letter C) 

▶ For trailers and semi-trailers (letter F)

▶ On motorbikes (letter B) 

These prices will come into effect from 00:00 on 20.05.2024.

Where can I buy a Green Card at the previous prices?

You can purchase the international insurance policy "Green Card" on the Visit Ukraine website. You can take out insurance via this link in just a few clicks. To take out a policy in advance, just specify the date of the insurance start date you need.
