At the beginning of the week, the Verkhovna Rada registered draft law No. 11496, which provides for the introduction of new fines for violators of parking rules. The article below explains what exactly Ukrainians will be fined for and what amounts drivers will have to pay.
Penalty for parking in the wrong place: details
The draft law has been amended to address drivers who violate parking rules, namely, obstruct the passage of city services, including fire services, ambulances and other rescue vehicles. It is also considered a violation to park a car in a place intended for water intake in case of fire.
According to the draft law, drivers who violate these rules will face an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of UAH 1,700 or even deprivation of the right to drive for up to 6 months.
The draft law provides for easier access for rescue services in case of emergencies.
Remember that compliance with traffic rules is a guarantee of safety not only for the driver and passengers, but also for other road users.
