Entry rules to Angola for Ukrainians
Visas to Angola for Ukrainians
Ukrainian citizens planning a tourist or business trip to Angola must apply for a visa in advance through an Angolan diplomatic mission or consulate.
⚠️ Important: Angola has introduced a visa-free regime and an electronic visa (eVisa) system for citizens of several countries; however, Ukraine is not currently included on these lists. Therefore, Ukrainians cannot apply for a visa online or obtain one upon arrival in the country. To travel, you must complete the standard consular procedure before your trip.
How can Ukrainians obtain a visa to Angola?
The procedure for obtaining a tourist or business visa consists of several steps.
1. Determine the type of visa
Before submitting your documents, you must select the visa category based on the purpose of your trip:
- tourist visa — for leisure, travel, and exploring the country;
- business visa — for negotiations, conferences, business trips, and other business activities.
2. Prepare the required documents
To process your application, you must compile a set of documents confirming the purpose of your trip, your financial capacity, and your compliance with Angola’s entry requirements.
3. Submit the documents to the consular office
After preparing the documents, you must contact the Angolan embassy or consulate and submit a visa application.
4. Pay the consular fee
When submitting the documents, the applicant pays the consular fee for processing the application.
5. Receive a decision on the visa
After reviewing the documents, the consulate makes a decision and affixes the visa to the applicant’s passport.
Processing time is usually 5 to 15 business days, so it is recommended to submit your application at least a few weeks before your planned trip.

In most cases, tourist and business visas are issued for short-term trips with a stay of up to 30 days. The specific conditions, number of permitted entries, and validity period of the visa are indicated on the visa sticker.
If you are planning a longer stay or multiple entries into the country, you must clarify the available visa categories when submitting your documents.
