5. Dilijan National Park
Often referred to as "Armenia's Switzerland," Dilijan National Park is a lush, forested area offering a peaceful retreat. The town of Dilijan, surrounded by mountains, is known for its traditional architecture. Explore the Haghartsin Monastery and enjoy hiking trails in this green sanctuary.
Permitted. Transit is considered to be a stay of a person in the transit zone of the airport for no more than 12 hours, if he or she has a boarding pass for a flight to a third country.
It is allowed to import:
- no more than fifty packs of tobacco products;
- no more than two liters of alcoholic beverages;
- personal belongings, including other items, the total value of which does not exceed USD 500.
If the imported goods exceed the permissible free rate, an additional duty is charged.
It is strictly forbidden to import (including transit)
- narcotic drugs;
- ammunition and weapons;
- antiques, precious stones, paintings, etc. without the permission of the authorized bodies.
