Croatia-Poland. From Zagreb, Zadar, Pula, and Dubrovnik, it is possible to fly to Warsaw, Katowice, Wroclaw, and Poznan. Ryanair offers the cheapest flights. Prices for a one-way ticket start at $17. Skyscanner finds the cheapest flights for September.

Croatia-Moldova. There are Ryanair flights from Zagreb to Chisinau starting at $166. Note that there is no direct flight, so the company offers connecting options.

Croatia-Hungary. Residents of Croatia can easily reach Budapest, as Ryanair and Wizz Air offer departures from various cities. One-way tickets are available for $17.

Croatia-Austria. There are flights to Vienna from Zagreb, Zadar, Pula, and Dubrovnik. The price for a one-way ticket is affordable – from $16.

Croatia-Slovakia. The cheapest flights to Slovakia are operated by Ryanair. The price of a one-way ticket starts from $13. The most affordable tickets you can find for October.

After arriving in a European country, you need to transfer to land transport to Ukraine. Choose between rail and bus service.

Many tourists prefer trains due to comfort. Currently, there are the following connections:

Poland. From Warsaw and Chelm, you can reach Kyiv and Kharkiv, from Przemyśl – Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia.

• Austria. A direct train goes from Vienna to Kyiv with a stop in Budapest.

• Moldova. A direct train goes from Chisinau to Kyiv.

• Slovakia. From Kosice, you can reach Chop and Mukachevo.
