HELP

Too many Ukrainian citizens are currently in Europe because of the war. They are detached from the usual circle of communication, the usual situation, feelings of stress and anxiety do not leave them. This condition is very harmful to the psyche - you need to get out of it little by little. To do this, psychologists advise to start doing something interesting and enjoyable, to focus on positive emotions. Especially since Paris has become your temporary home, there will be many options for free bright leisure.

EXCURSIONS

Paris is characterized by the maximum density of historical monuments, cultural achievements and a purely French atmosphere. Of course, to navigate all this wealth, it is best to first book a free sightseeing tour - get a general impression and understand that here you want to learn more.

FREE TOURS IN PARIS. Quite a powerful aggregator of offers for free tours: here you have several attractions, legends and modernity. Choose what you like - and go! There are several languages to choose from. The system is simple: register for the selected tour, the place and time of the meeting will be indicated.

Free Tour of Paris. This tour with a bar will be extremely rich and interesting: the Seine embankment, Notre Dame de Paris, the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, the Palais des Justice, and you will hear many stories about the past of this city. Meeting place - near the fountain on San Michel (4th metro line, 3rd exit). Start in English at 10:00 and 11:00, in Spanish at 11:00 and 15:00.

MUSEUMS AND SIGHTS

Almost all the tourist gems of the city such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Montmartre can always be seen for free. The only thing is, pay attention to the huge queues for all this. But you will most likely see them during the above-mentioned excursions. As for museums, most of them announced free admission on the first Sunday of each month. However, there are a few more that are always free.

Gallery 59 Rivoli (Rue de Rivoli, 59). There used to be a bank here, but now there are creative workshops. You can see how artists work. Donations are optional.

Museum of Street Art A42 (96 Bertier Blvd.). Fifty artists, one and a half - works of street artists on 4 thousand square meters: this gallery is sure to find something to surprise you.

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (Marais 7 Rue Debelleyme). Gallery with works of modern art. Open Tue-Sat, 10:00 - 19:00.

Victor Hugo House Museum (6 Place des Vosges). The great writer once lived and worked in this apartment. You can visit Tue-Sun, 10:00 - 18:00.

Les Grands Voisins (Ancien hôpital Saint-Vincent-de-Paul 74, avenue Denfert-Rochereau). In the Montparnasse area there is an open space - a social art project, very interesting from any point of view. We definitely recommend visiting from 9 a.m. to midnight, daily.

Espace Fondation EDF (6 rue Récamier 7e). Another gallery of contemporary art, for which the former power plant was adapted. Open: Tue-Sun, 12:00 - 19:00.

Atelier Brancusi (Place Georges Pompidou). This is a personal gallery of the talented Romanian sculptor Brancusi. You can enter every day from 14:00 to 18:00, except Tuesdays.

SIGHTSEEING SQUARES AND PARKS

Tuileries Garden / Luxembourg Garden. There is no point in writing about these two green spaces separately: the most famous and the most popular, both almost in the center, that is, if you get tired of walking around the sights, you can always relax here. You won't find the usual benches here, but there are portable chairs everywhere - take a free one and be alone wherever you want.

Green coulé René-Dumont. Tourists know little about this place - and in vain! This park can be seen in the 12th district, it was built in the 80s of the last century - where once there was a railway. The total length is about 5 km, and the place itself is divided into two parts: one at the level of the surroundings, the second - slightly elevated. Here is a real riot of greenery and very cozy. There are bike paths and jogging paths.

Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Both a historical monument and a cozy place for walks without crowds of tourists. You will see a lot of graves of famous people.

Belleville Park. The park in the area of the same name is a hill, from the top of which are magnificent views of Paris. There are binoculars on the observation deck, which will help to see everything that interests you up close.

Another opportunity to see the city from above is the Georges Pompidou Center. How to climb to its top floor (which is free!), See Montmartre. Finally, be sure to visit the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, which is in itself a very beautiful place, both architecturally and in terms of design, and also offers a panoramic view of Paris from its stairs.
