HELP

From April 23, refugees who arrived in Poland from Ukraine after February 23, 2022, can apply for financial assistance for the second child and subsequent children in the family under the program "Family Guardianship Capital" (Rodzinny Kapitał Opiekuńczy). Assistance is available for children aged 12 to 35 months.

Under the program, parents can receive up to 12 thousand zlotys - 1,000 zlotys in each month during 12 months or 500 zlotys in each month during 24 months. You can apply from the first day of the month in which the child turns 9 months, until the end of the month in which the child turns 1 year old. If the application is submitted after the month in which the child turns 1 year old, the payment will be reduced for each month that has passed since the child reached 1 year.

Assistance will be provided from the month in which the application was submitted. At the same time, Ukrainians who received PESEL in March will be able to receive money in March. Payments will be made exclusively for the period of the family's stay in Poland.

To participate in the program you must have a PESEL number for the child and one of the parents, a Polish phone number, e-mail, bank account in Poland. The application can only be submitted online on the ZUS electronic services platform (PUE). Detailed instructions on how to fill out the application are here.
