HELP

The Institute of Social Insurance - ZUS - informs Ukrainians staying in Poland and receiving financial support about the rules of leaving the country. In particular, citizens of Ukraine who have received financial assistance under the "500+" and "Family Capital Guardianship" programs are entitled to cash benefits only during their stay in Poland. If you leave Poland for more than 30 days, the assistance will stop.

If you have applied for financial assistance from ZUS and still decide to leave Poland for more than 30 days, you must notify ZUS. You can do this in two ways:

- online, log in to your account on the portal PUE ZUS and write a general letter POG

- contact your local ZUS office and submit your written consent. Starting next month, the benefit will not be paid.

Read here how to apply online.

ZUS warns that if you leave Poland for more than 30 days without notifying ZUS, you will be obliged to return the funds charged after departure, and even with interest.

If you plan to leave Poland for no more than 30 days and return, there is no need to inform ZUS. Also, it is not necessary to inform ZUS about leaving the country for those citizens who have not applied for any types of financial support in Poland.
