Table of contents
Large-scale traffic jams continue to occur on the border between Ukraine and Poland, significantly hampering traffic. Ukrainians have been warned about these difficulties and urged to take them into account when planning their travels
In July 2024, large-scale traffic jams continue to be recorded on the border of Ukraine and Poland, further hampering traffic. This situation creates significant inconvenience for travelers, especially during the height of the holiday season.
Queues on the border with Poland: what is known
Border guards say that the cause of the traffic complications is on the Polish side. In particular, technical work being carried out in Poland has slowed down traffic at the Shehyni checkpoint.
According to the Polish side, the incorrect operation of the database at this checkpoint can lead to delays.
There are also slowdowns at the Rava-Ruska and Uhryniv checkpoints. This was reported by the press service of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

These technical problems on the Polish side complicate the border crossing process. This is especially true for those who go on vacation to the sea, as the holiday season is now in full swing.
Ukrainians who plan to travel are asked to take this information into account and monitor the situation.
Citizens are urged to choose other border crossing points if possible to avoid long queues and delays.
