Please note! Ukrainians who currently reside in Poland and have a valid Green Card policy do not need to take out Polish insurance. Read more about this here.

The Green Card is a compulsory international motor third party liability insurance policy that covers the costs of compensation for damage to life, health and property of third parties caused by an accident in Poland and other member states of the international Green Card agreement.

You can buy a Green Card both abroad and in Ukraine. However, insurance abroad will cost much more. For example, in Poland, the cost of a Green Card for 1 month starts from 50 euros.

Therefore, it is better to buy insurance online, as it is quick and easy. On the Visit Ukraine portal, you can take out a Green Card policy from a licensed insurer. The calculator allows you to calculate the exact price of the policy individually for your vehicle. Packages are available for different periods from 15 days to 1 year for cars and trucks, trailers and semi-trailers for trucks, as well as motorcycles and scooters.
