Ukrainians can receive various services at the service centres of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but first they need to register through a special resource, choosing a convenient time. Read more about how to register for services at a service centre and how to get a voucher for driving tests in this article.

Online registration at a service centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Service centres of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide a variety of services to citizens of the country. The main ones are:

● vehicle registration;
● issuance of driving licences;
● services related to number plates;
● services related to the construction of vehicles, etc.

However, you need to make an appointment in advance and receive a so-called ‘coupon’ to visit the service centre. How to do it?

● Go to the website of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;

● select the section ‘E-recording’;
● log in to the website using an electronic signature, BankID or Diia.Signature;
● select the required service;
● select the date, time and address of the required service centre;

● receive a coupon.

The coupon should be downloaded to your phone or printed out.

If for some reason you cannot make the appointment, be sure to cancel the appointment through your personal account or by calling the service centre, but no later than 2 hours before the appointment.

To visit the service centre, you must have your passport or other identity document and the originals of all the necessary documents to receive the selected service.

For your convenience, the MIA Service Centre offers a video instruction on how to register for services through the E-queue.

How do I get a coupon for a driving test?

Follow the instructions above when choosing a driving test service.

Keep in mind that the coupons for the practical test are updated every three weeks, i.e. they are generated for the next 21 days, and for the theory test - for the next 14 days.

If for any reason you cannot register for the exams via the E-queue, you can use a special terminal. They are located on the territory of service centres of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In this case, coupons will be generated for the next 3 days.

A reminder for Ukrainian drivers!

According to the law of Ukraine, every driver of a vehicle must take out compulsory car insurance. Motor third party liability insurance (MTPL) is a Ukrainian insurance policy that compensates victims of road accidents.

If you have a valid CTPCI policy, the insurance company of the culprit will compensate the injured party.

On Visit Ukraine, you can buy a CTP policy from a licensed insurer. Packages with a deductible of UAH 3200, UAH 1600 and UAH 0 are available.

Remember. To re-register a car, you do not need to personally contact a service centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as this can be done online. Find out how to re-register a vehicle via Diia and how many Ukrainians used the service in June 2024 here.
