Ukraine has changed the rules for sending food and products by post: what you can't put in a parcel now
From now on, the rules for sending products by post are changing in Ukraine. They concern the shelf life of goods. Find out how to send products
The Ukrainian government has adopted a resolution amending the list of items prohibited from being sent by post. In case of violations, the procedure for seizing such items was also amended.
What can't be sent by post now?
From now on, according to the rules, it is prohibited to send food products in domestic mail if they are about to expire on the scheduled delivery date. Previously, shipping was limited to products with a shelf life of up to 10 days.
The government has also clarified other prohibitions. In particular, it is prohibited to send national currency (except for numismatic and investment coins), foreign currency, alcoholic beverages with an ethyl alcohol content of more than 8.5% that are not subject to excise stamps, tobacco products and e-cigarette liquids that do not have sample stamps.

What other goods are prohibited from being sent by mail?
▪️ weapons;
▪️ flammable or other hazardous substances, toxic and radioactive substances, mercury, acids, poisonous, corrosive substances
▪️ animals and poisonous plants;
▪️ special technical means of covertly obtaining information;
▪️ biological agents, etc.
As for international mail, the following items are prohibited:
▪️ weapons permits
▪️ employment records
▪️ military cards and other identity documents.
