Special departments will be set up for Ukrainians living abroad. Their goal is to bring citizens back home. Read more about these departments in this article
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the launch of special departments for refugees. They will operate abroad.
The fact is that the Ukrainian authorities have already started working on the return of Ukrainian citizens from abroad.
As Zelenskyy explained, the principles of this migration policy will be set out in the internal victory plan, which is currently being developed. At the same time, the government plans to strengthen its foreign presence. To do this, the government is creating special departments that represent human capital.

Where will the special departments be set up and what is their role?
In particular, according to the President, two representative offices will be set up in Poland and Germany.
They will launch employment programmes in Ukraine because, as Zelenskyy clarified, Ukrainians living abroad have lost even information communication.
‘They need to gather somewhere and get information not only from the Internet,’ the president added.
It is worth noting that the West does not mind leaving employed Ukrainian refugees in their countries, but the situation with the unemployed is different - Europe is already looking for a way to force them to return to Ukraine. Zelenskyy cited Germany as an example, where, according to him, there are 1.1 million Ukrainians, of whom at least 300,000 are unemployed and not even trying to find work.
By the way, you can order legal advice on employment abroad on the Visit Ukraine portal.
We remind you! Given the difficult situation faced by Ukrainian citizens who have left for Germany due to the hostilities, the German government has prepared a draft law that provides additional time and opportunities for Ukrainians. We talked about a draft law that proposes to extend the Aufenthaltssübergangsverordnung.
