Jaakko Schildt, Chief Operating Officer of Finnair, emphasized that the company is doing everything possible to provide passengers with alternative flights. However, due to the scale of the cancellations, some customers may receive new dates that differ significantly from the original ones.

“Our customer service department will be overwhelmed, so we ask customers to be patient,” Schildt said.
