How to leave Crimea through Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: instructions for Ukrainians

Due to the likelihood of forced mobilization into the Russian army in the temporarily occupied territories, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has published instructions. The document says how Ukrainians can leave temporarily occupied Crimea and other territories not controlled by Ukraine through Georgia, Azerbaijan or Kazakhstan.
Georgia
What documents can be used to enter?
You can enter the territory of Georgia from the territory of any country with any document that allows you to be considered a citizen of Ukraine. These can be: passport of citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad (even expired one), internal passport of citizen of Ukraine, certificate of birth, certificate on returning to Ukraine, issued in Ukraine or by consular agencies of Ukraine abroad.
Mode of stay in the country
Ukrainians who came to Georgia can apply to the Agency for Internally Displaced Persons (contact number on the territory of Georgia is 1505). Here, displaced persons from Ukraine are accommodated for up to 10 days and are assigned a sum of 300 GEL per family and an additional 45 GEL per person.

The period of stay for citizens documented with a Ukrainian internal passport is 6 months, with a foreign passport - 1 year
What documents can be used to leave the country?
It is possible to leave the country with a valid foreign passport (it may be biometric or not) or with an identity card for returning to Ukraine.
You can fly from Georgia to Turkey, Germany, Austria and Cyprus with a biometric passport that has been extended and contains the data of children.
You can travel by land from Georgia with a biometric passport without restrictions on the list of countries. If you have a non-biometric passport, you can travel to any country with the appropriate visa.
Possible directions of departure from the country by land transport:
Via Turkey to Bulgaria or Greece.
What to do if you don't have necessary documents for departure and want to return to Ukraine or travel to another country:
Contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia (Tbilisi, 76-g Ilya Chavchavadze Avenue) to issue a passport, extend the validity of the passport, enter the information about the child in the passport, or issue an identity card to return to Ukraine.

Azerbaijan
What documents can be used to enter?
Valid passport (biometric or non-biometric), valid certificate of vaccination against COVID-19.
Mode of stay in the country
There is no special stay regime for citizens of Ukraine. The period of a single stay must not exceed 90 days. In order to extend your stay for a period of more than 90 days, if you have valid reasons, you should contact the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan.
What documents can be used to leave the country?
You can leave the country only with a valid passport (biometric or non-biometric - depending on the requirements of the country of entry), or with a return passport (the need for a visa is determined by the regime of entry to the destination or transit country).
Departure from the territory of Azerbaijan by land is temporarily impossible.
According to the decision of the Operational Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 05.04.2020 a ban on land border crossing of Azerbaijan by land transport is still in force

Kazakhstan
What documents can be used to enter?
A valid passport (biometric or non-biometric).
In the absence of a foreign passport, a person can apply for refugee status to the border guards of Kazakhstan. For this purpose 2 photos 3.5 cm by 4.5 cm and translation of documents: copy of birth certificate or expired Ukrainian passport documents (can be done in any translation bureau on the route) are required.
In this case, a protection-seeker's certificate is issued, on the basis of which one can cross the border. Afterwards, the person should apply to the Ukrainian embassy in Kazakhstan to have the passport checked and obtained.
Mode of stay in the country
The period of a single stay may not exceed 90 days. For persons who have applied for refugee status, the period of stay is up to 1 year.
What documents can be used to leave the country?
You can leave Kazakhstan by air or land only with a valid passport (biometric or non-biometric - depending on the requirements of the country of entry), or with a return passport (the need for a visa is determined by the regime of entry to the destination or transit country).
Possible directions of exit from the country by land transport:
Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in Kazakhstan (Astana, Esil district, Karaotkel microdistrict, 12 Zhiliy str.) for registration of a passport or identity card to return to Ukraine.
