Climbing Hoverla is one of the most popular routes in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
It should be noted that although Hoverla is the highest peak in Ukraine, climbing it is not particularly difficult. Probably, this is one of the reasons for such popularity.
They say that every Ukrainian must conquer Hoverla, and we agree with this statement. Here, at an altitude of 2,061 meters above sea level, you forget about the fatigue and everyday problems that remained down the mountain, about all the incredible efforts you made to get here and understand - "yes, it's worth it." And the feelings that are felt at the top cannot be described or conveyed in words.
Dizzying panoramas of the Svydovetskyi and Chornohirsky ridges open from Hoverla - incredible landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains that stretch for many kilometres around. If you are lucky with the weather, you will be able to see the nearby 2,000-meter peaks - Pip Ivan Chornohirskyi, Petros. Here the clouds hang just above your head, just reach out and touch something fantastic, elusive and unearthly!
The day will start quite early because it will be very busy and its main goal is to climb the highest peak in Ukraine, the beautiful Hoverla (2061 m). Climbing the mountain is a kind of conquest of the "little Everest", not only because the mountain is the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, but also because it offers a breathtaking view, brings tears of admiration to the eyes, and fills the soul with pride for that we have such beauty on our land!
The program of a one-day tour with climbing Hoverla:
- Departure from Uzhgorod at 03:00; from Mukachevo at 03:40; from Khust at 04:40.
- We offer a comfortable option: we will be taken by high passability transport to the Holovchesk polony
- The ascent to Hoverla takes about 3 hours. The descent will take a little less time. Even untrained people, children, teenagers and the elderly can make the ascent.
- A photo on the top of Hoverla is a must!
- On the way back, we will visit optionally the legendary restaurant "Gagarin and Bokorash", the gastropub "Tsypa" or a hut museum, and, of course, the geographical center of Europe.
- We will return home full of positive and bright impressions, full of the energy of the mountains and a little tired.
You will remember the moment of climbing to the top of Hoverla forever. When you stand on it - silent and proud, when your pulse calms down, the trembling in your legs subsides, when you catch your breath and look around... It is for this majesty, beauty, admiration, and waves of inner personal emotions that cover your head are reasons why people go to the mountains.
