Tustan is a rocky fortress city that was a defense and administrative center during the 9th-15th centuries. The city was founded by Croatian tribes, then it was occupied by Rusyns, and from the end of the 16th century Tustan began to decline and eventually only the stone foundations of the fortress remained. Thanks to research and archaeological excavations, scientists managed to restore the graphic reconstruction of the fortress with an accuracy of almost 90%.
Slavske is a colorful town where everyone will find entertainment to their liking. We take the cable car up to Vysokyi Verkh, admire the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains, and from the top of the mountain you can see such a breathtaking panorama that you can even see the Zakarpattia region. For those who want to diversify their vacation, we organize horseback riding or jeep rides.
And at the end of our intense trip, if you wish, we will visit the Kamyanka Waterfall. From a height of about 6 meters, jets of water fall from massive blocks of stone, and below there is a large pool and a chaotic pile of stones. We take a photo and head home.
