About tour

We are greeted by the amazing "Dovbush Caves.  "Dovbush Rocks" are known not only as a natural monument, but also as an important historical site. It has been established that this rock and cave complex was used by people as a dwelling and a fortress in the tenth century. The cave rooms have all the signs of human habitation: clear geometric shapes, correct proportions, flat surfaces of vertical walls, rectangularity, and clean wall decoration. In addition, in the tenth and twelfth centuries there was a pagan temple here, a "kind of" paleo observatory. After the spread of Christianity, a small hermitage and later a watch fortress appeared on the site of the pagan sanctuary. It was probably one of the strongholds with which the Galician prince Yaroslav Osmomysl, according to the author of The Tale of Igor's Campaign, supported the Hungarian mountains. This fortress survived the Mongol-Tatar invasion and existed until the sixteenth century.

After visiting the amazing Dovbush Rock, we go for a walk on the Carpathian tram. The Carpathian tram leaves from the village of Vyhoda and runs along the Mizunka River. The houses of local residents, fields, forest glades and riverbanks pass by. During the stops, you can swim in mountain water, taste water from clean healing springs, and just enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls. Along the way, the guide tells interesting stories in which real events and legends are woven into one fascinating picture. After a short stop, the route continues past the Dziurkach spring to the Dzherelo Prykarpattia sanatorium, where astronauts once underwent rehabilitation. Here, tourists can visit the suspension bridges over the Mizunka River and buy souvenirs with the Carpathian Tram symbols.

We will visit one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Ukrainian Carpathians - Lake Synevyr. It is also called the "Sea Eye" and the "Pearl of the Carpathians". Lake Synevyr really looks like a huge eye if you look at its satellite photo. The lake is located at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level, its average depth is 10-12 meters, and the maximum depth reaches 24 meters. Since 1989, the Synevyr National Park has been established in the areas around the lake.
