"Borzhava" polony hike
About this tour
We invite you to hike through the Carpathians - to travel along the picturesque Borzhava Carpathian ridge, which is the longest transcarpathian meadow (the meadow is a treeless area of high mountains that is used for mowing hay and grazing sheep by shepherds in the summer).

A walking trip to Borzhava will give you a sea of unforgettable emotions from impressive mountain landscapes, and will also allow you to test your endurance, because the journey will not be short and not entirely easy. And if you carefully take your camera with you, you will be able to take unique pictures of the Carpathian landscapes and various herbs, which will become a real decoration of your photo collection about vacations in the Carpathians.
We will visit the following places: Borzhava Poloniny, a hike to Borzhava, the Hymba Mountains, Velikiy Verkh, Plai, fantastic Carpathian landscapes

departure from Lviv (07:00) – Pylypets (ascent to Mount Hymba by chairlift) - a pedestrian crossing along the Borzhava ridge (Gymba route – Velikiy Verkh – Plai – descent to the village of Volovets) – Volovets (getting on the bus) – Lviv (return by 24:00)

Polonyna Borzhava
The mountain massif on the Polony ridge in the Ukrainian Carpathians, between the Vicha and Rika rivers. It is located within Volovetskyi, Mizhhirskyi, Svalyavskyi, Irshavskyi and (partially) Khustskyi districts of the Zakarpattia region.

Mountain "Gemba" (Gimba)
A mountain in the Ukrainian Carpathians, one of the highest peaks of the Polonyna Borzhava mountain range. Located on the border of Svalyavskyi and Mizhhirskyi districts of Zakarpattia region.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
