DAY 1

Arrival to Chernivtsi.Meet & welcome. Transfer to hotel. Check in.

Chernivtsy – small & very cozy town in the Western of Ukraine. Hometown of famous American actress Mila Kunis, who lived here till age of 7. Cobblestoned streets, beautiful architecture with many bookstore and art galleries. 

City walking tour (3hrs) – Depending on the arrival time can be done on 1st day afternoon or next day morning. 

You will walk down Kobylyanska street with plenty of interesting stories, filled with pretty cafes and shops. 

You will head to the Central tower “Ratusha” that daily plays city hymn. And of course you will visit the most famous gem of the city – National University that really brings us in comparison to Hogwarts.  

Leisure time.Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel. HALF DAY TOUR TO KHOTYN FORTRESS (by car)

Hotyn castle has always been a center of warfare and trade as it stood on the most convenient ferry place on the Dnister river. Moldovans, Polish, Turks and Ukrainians were trying to gain control over this place so finally it combined a great variety of cultures and traditions. It's also one of the most picturesque fortresses used a movie scenery for many films

Breakfast. Day at Leisure.

Breakfast. Check out of hotel. Transfer to the train station.

Mykolaiv Cathedral

This unique building was built on the model of the Romanian Assumption Cathedral. The peculiarity of the cathedral is the unusual structure of its domes - they are literally twisted. Because of it, the Mykolaiv cathedral is called "Drunk church".

Residence of the Metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia

The best Viennese, Czech and Bukovinian masters worked on the architectural masterpiece - the residence of the metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia. Today, the former residence is used as the main building of Chernivtsi National University and often appears in films.

Turkish Well Square

Today this area is called Sq. Of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This place has existed for several centuries since the Ottoman Empire. The oldest well in Bukovina is on the square, it was built by the Turks. A legend about the undivided love of a Turkish Pasha for a Ukrainian girl is connected with the well.

Ship house

The unusually shaped house is located at the intersection of Main and Sholom Aleichem streets. To this day, locals call it "Schiff", which means "ship" in German. The ship house is one of the first houses built in the late 19th century, and its appearance resembles a real sea ship
