Hoverla is probably the first association that comes to mind when you think of the Ukrainian Carpathians. And for good reason! It is the highest point in our country, 2061 meters above sea level.
The mountain belongs to the Chornohora range, which is considered the main landscape and most popular sightseeing attraction in the Carpathians. Its visitors are not only Ukrainian tourists but also guests from all over the world.
"Hoverla" means "snowy mountain" in Magyar. And it does have a snow-capped peak. And not only in winter, the weather here is always unpredictable.
Climbing Hoverla is popular both in summer and in winter. There are several routes, the most popular are from the Zaroslyak camp, from the Kozmeschyk tract and others.
To conquer Hoverla is to feel complete freedom and euphoria after a difficult and long journey!

Departure from Lviv (06:00) - preparation for the climb, climbing Hoverla, snack at the top of the mountain - Lviv (return to 23:00).

Technical information for the tour to Hoverla:
1. The tourist route to Hoverla is 7-7.5 km long in both directions, the height difference is 800 meters;
2. The ascent to Mount Hoverla lasts approximately 4-5 hours, the descent approximately 3-4 hours;
3. The tourist route is designed for an average group of physically healthy people;
4. Participation in the excursion to Hoverla does not require prior training or experience;
5. During the hike to Hoverla and descent it is strictly forbidden to drink alcohol.
What to take with you for a trip to Hoverla:
- a document proving your identity (passport, driver's license)
- comfortable waterproof footwear (preferably mountain trekking boots with high lacing and vibram tread)
- a windproof jacket with a hood, preferably waterproof, windproof pants that do not hinder movement, a warm sweater or a polar jacket, a hat (hat, bandana), a raincoat;
- a spare set of clothes;
- backpack;
- water;
- food for snacks during the climb;
- necessary medicines (individual first aid kit) that you use.
The price of the tour includes: travel by car along the route; ascent to Hoverla; guide support; mountain guide support.
