Excursion to Tarakaniv Fort - built as a defense structure during the First World War. In the center of the fort there is a huge two-story barracks building (2 floors underground), which is reached by 4 underground passages. The barracks was designed for 650 people, and it was equipped with a church, a laboratory, an infirmary, a workshop, an electric and a telegraph station. In 1899, the fort was telephoned. History sometimes leaves a lot of interesting things, and sometimes things that do not always lend themselves to the usual understanding of the laws of nature and human thinking. The fort has been "dead" for a long time. But this is only at first glance ...
A tour of Dubno Castle, which belongs to the bastion-type fortifications. One of the two towers (from the river side) - Beatka - is shrouded in the legend of Dubno Castle. It is also one of the symbols of the city of Dubno. Witnesses of many historical events, the walls of Dubno Castle still preserve the memory of famous personalities who once lived and visited here. For several centuries, this stronghold over the Ikva River has never been taken by attack or storming.
A tour of the Ostroh Castle, which is a unique fortification ensemble in Volyn. Not every provincial town can boast of such bright tourist attractions as a medieval castle, academy, and defensive towers. Today, the castle is home to a local history museum, which is the oldest museum institution in the Rivne region. Here guests can see secret dungeons, ancient towers and hear interesting legends. This building is a unique residential castle with one tower. Massive walls, old wooden stairs and a museum exhibition take visitors back to the Middle Ages.
A tour of the Ostroh Academy. This is the first higher education institution in Eastern Europe, the oldest Ukrainian scientific and educational institution, founded in 1576 by Prince Vasyl-Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi.

18:30 - dinner at the hunting restaurant Yavir.
21:30 - estimated time of arrival in Lutsk.
