What awaits you?
Sophia Square and Volodymyrska Street – The Beginning of Kyiv
Sophia Square is a place where the grandeur of Kyiv can be felt. Here stands St. Sophia’s Cathedral, an 11th-century landmark where Prince Yaroslav the Wise forged diplomatic alliances. In front of the cathedral, the monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky rises, surrounded by historic buildings that have witnessed centuries of history. Volodymyrska Street leads us to our next stop – Andriivskyi Descent.
Andriivskyi Descent – The Soul of Old Kyiv
This street is the heart of Kyiv’s artistic scene. Writers and artists such as Mikhail Bulgakov, Ivan Kavaleridze, and Paraska Plytka-Horytsvit once lived and worked here. The descent is lined with art galleries, antique shops, and craft workshops. At its peak stands St. Andrew’s Church, one of Kyiv’s most beautiful landmarks. Perched above the city, it offers breathtaking panoramic views.
Kanapa or Kanapka Bar – The Taste of Kyiv
After a walk, a gastronomic stop is a must. "Kanapa" is a restaurant where Ukrainian cuisine is elevated to art, while "Kanapka Bar" is a great spot for a light break.
