The mystery of the Carpathians beckons at all times of the year and in any weather. Perhaps the Gorgany Mountains are the most mysterious in the Ukrainian Carpathians, it is a mountain massif with peaks stretching from Ivano-Frankivsk to Zakarpattia Oblast. One of them is Khomyak mountain, which travellers called the peak of the "day off" and which you will see on this tour.
You will visit Yaremche, where you will walk along the famous Dovbush trail. And near the longest Ukrainian village of Mykulychyn, you will admire one of the most famous waterfalls of the Carpathians - Zhenetsky Huk, the height of which reaches 15 meters.

departure from Lviv (08:00) – Yaremche (examination of the "Elephant" flysch rocks, lunch, a walk along the "Dovbush Trail", swimming in tanks or free time) – Polyanytsia (accommodation in a hotel, dinner).
2 Days
breakfast and departure (07:30) – Polyanytsia (preparation and ascent to Khomyak, snack at the top) – Mykulychyn (pedestrian crossing to the Zhenetsky Huk waterfall) – Delyatyn (lunch) – Lviv (return at 22:30).

Khomyak mountain
Khomyak Mountain lies within the southeastern part of Gorgan above the village of Tatariv, Ivano-Frankivsk Region. Thanks to the popularity of family vacations at this location, travellers have nicknamed Mount Khomyak the peak of the "day off" The height of Mount Khomyak is 1542 m, it consists of sandstones and conglomerates. The upper part of Khomyak is covered with stone rubble, and further, it is covered with meadows and crooked forests. The slopes of the mountain are green with spruce and beech forests, which are lined with tributaries of the rivers Zhentsia and Prutsia Yablunytskyi.

Yaremche
It is a famous climatic resort located between picturesque mountains in the picturesque valley of the Prut River. There is the famous "Dovbush Trail", a short route through the mountain wooded slopes, ideal for a walk for several hours. There are many picturesque places on the Dovbush Trail: there are fir and beech forests, moss-covered stones, and sandstone rocks, among which there are many caves and vines. According to legends, Oleksa Dovbush, the hero of folk tales, hid a chest with his countless treasures in one of these caves

Zhenetsky Huk
Near the longest Ukrainian village, Mykulychyn, one of the most famous waterfalls of the Carpathians flows from the Gorgan peaks - Zhenetsky Huk. It was formed in the post-war years as a result of a flood. Residents called the waterfall Huk because of the noise, and the hum that comes from it. This extremely picturesque waterfall has one cascade and it is 15 meters high.
