Trip to Pip Ivan

Day 1

Important! From May 16, accommodation on the tour changes to bungalows.

We meet at 09:00 at the Vorokhta railway station.

We move to the “White Elephant Dzembronya” camp, where we settle in a cozy 4-bed room in a house. If desired and for an additional fee, you can stay in a cottage with a fireplace.

Then a nutritious breakfast and time to pack up. Before heading to the mountains, the guide will conduct a detailed briefing on driving in the mountainous terrain. We get into the bus and drive along the Black Cheremosh to the village. Zelene, where the hiking route to the Hungarian Rocks (1250 m) starts.

During the walk (if circumstances allow), we visit a Hutsul family living in the mountains. The hostess Olena is always happy to welcome travelers and treat them to a delicious lunch. If we can’t visit this house, we will arrange a nutritious picnic snack with fragrant warm tea.

We finish the walk, which is about 15 km long, in the village of Zelene and return by bus to the camp. We rest, take a shower and have dinner in the dining room with a fireplace, where it is so nice to share impressions of the day that has passed. If the soul yearns for even more relaxation, we offer the park a Carpathian sauna.

Day 2

We wake up at dawn to catch up on everything. After all, the mountain journey will last all day.

We have breakfast at 07:30. We prepare everything we need for a safe and enjoyable hike. Then we jump into a bus that will take us to Verkhnia Dzembronya, just before the start of the route.

We climb a fairly steep road to the floor. Under Smotrych, then we travel to Mt. Vukhatiy Kamin (1864 m), dotted with stone blocks. And then we head to our main goal - Mt. Pip Ivan Chornohirsky. A delicious picnic at the top with sublimated dishes from ИДLO, warm tea and sweets. Photo session, a flight on a swing at an altitude of 2028 m above sea level, delight in the majestic observatory on the very top of Chorna Hora and the way down.

In Verkhnia Dzembronya, a bus will be waiting to take us to the comfort of the White Elephant.

A busy day requires the same dinner. And after a delicious snack, we have a good rest so that the next morning we can set off to new peaks.

Day 3

Today we get up not so early to savor the final day of our program and collect all the best moments of the trip in a bag of warm memories. Kosaryshche is a wonderful location for such a quiet, leisurely enjoyment of the mountains with pleasant heights and incredible views.

So we have a good breakfast, prepare a small backpack with the most necessary things and set off on a 10-kilometer walk from Stepanskyi to Kosaryshche. Be sure to free up space on your phone and charge your camera, because the Carpathian peaks are simply posing here. The whole of Chornogora will open up like in the palm of your hand.

If Pip Ivan has tired you out a lot, you can make this day a relaxing one and spend it in the camp, sipping fragrant Carpathian tea by the fireplace, chatting or watching an interesting film.

We have a delicious lunch at the White Elephant camp and prepare for departure. The transfer from the camp will last 90 minutes. We finish the program in Vorokhta no later than 18:00.
