Key landmarks
1
Synevyr pass
One of the most scenic passes of the Ukrainian Carpathians, its height reaches 793m and allows you to admire the stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
2
Brown bear rehabilitation center
Brown Bear Rehabilitation Center covering an area of 12 hectares is located in the Synevyr National Natural Park. Human activity resulted in the extinction of the biggest predators in Ukraine. The center was founded to rehabilitate brown bears that suffered poor treatment in captivity and those who suffered natural disasters, in an attempt to revive their population.

Synevyr lake
The soul of the Ukrainian Carpathians, a place where nature speaks the language of silence, depth, and legends. Located at an altitude of about 989 meters above sea level among the centuries-old spruce trees of the Synevyr National Nature Park, it impresses with its scale and mystical beauty. The crystal clear water changes shades from deep blue to emerald, reflecting the sky and mountains, and in the center of the lake stands a small island — precisely that "pupil" that gives Synevyr its nickname, the Sea Eye of the Carpathians. According to scientific data, the lake was formed over 10,000 years ago as a result of a powerful landslide that blocked the stream bed, creating one of the most famous natural symbols of Ukraine. But Synevyr is not only geography, but also an emotion that overwhelms you. According to legend, the lake was created from the tears of the count's daughter Syn and the shepherd Vir, and this love story adds a special sensuality and magic to the place. At any time of the year, the lake has its own unique atmosphere: in spring, it is filled with light and mirror-like reflections; in summer, it offers coolness and tranquility; in autumn, it bursts with the gold and crimson of the forests; and in winter, it turns into a fairy-tale ice silence. A walk along the wooden paths around Synevyr is an immersion into the living history of the Carpathians, a magical moment of pause and inner rejuvenation!
