About this tour

Chernivtsi is often called the Ukrainian Paris, and for good reason - the pearl of Ukrainian Bukovina is in no way inferior to exquisite European capitals and offers tourists entertainment for every taste. We suggest starting with the classics and visiting the top must-see places that will make you fall in love with this city. We will start the city tour from the Central Square and go on an exciting journey through the streets and courtyards of Chernivtsi. On our way we will see a lot of majestic churches, churches, a synagogue, we will admire the panorama of the Prut River valley, from where, in clear weather, the highest point of the East European Plain - Mount Berda. In conclusion, we saved the Residence of the Metropolitans of Bukovina and Dalmatia - an outstanding architectural masterpiece of the city. The war turned the city into a reliable, deep rear of our country: humanitarian, industrial and transit. And it changed its face: most of the sculptures and architectural monuments were covered with refractory and shockproof protective materials, in particular, stained-glass windows and interior decoration in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Chernivtsi University, sandbags were placed over the oldest monument - a bronze sculptural group. Fortunately, Chernivtsi was not subjected to destruction and explosions as a result of rocket attacks. However, the townspeople knew well what a bomb shelter was. And you will be able to see the two oldest ones - built on the territory of the Lviv railway (Belorusskaya st. 3B and right under the car depot), 1974 and 1958.
