Take a journey through time — from an ancient fortress of the 17th century to a modern metropolis!
You will see how Kharkiv has transformed from a small town in Sloboda into the cultural, scientific and architectural heart of eastern Ukraine. Stroll through the historical quarters, discover the 7 wonders of Kharkiv, and feel the atmosphere of a city of contrasts — ancient temples, monumental constructivism, and vibrant modernity.

Tour Program
10:00 – Meeting at Constitution Square.
You will begin your journey from the heart of old Kharkiv — the territory of the former fortress, where the city was born. You will hear legends, stories of old streets, and learn how the name “Kharkiv” was born.
11:00 – Walk through the old city.
You will visit the Pokrovsky Cathedral — the oldest stone building in the city, where Hryhoriy Skovoroda taught. You will look into cozy courtyards, hear interesting facts about toponymy and ancient Kharkiv traditions.
12:30 – “Seven Wonders of Kharkiv” — the main pearls of the city:
-Monument to Taras Shevchenko — the most famous in the world.
-Fountain “Mirror Stream” — a symbol of love and inspiration.
-Blagovishchensky Cathedral — an architectural decoration of the Byzantine style.
-Uspensky Cathedral — a temple with the highest bell tower in Kharkiv.
-Derzhprom Building — a legendary example of constructivism.
-A residential building with a spire — a symbol of post-war Kharkiv.
14:30 – Lunch in a colorful cafe.
Taste Kharkiv borscht or signature coffee “on Lopan”.
15:30 – Walk through the new Kharkiv.
You will see modern squares, fountains, art objects and learn why Kharkiv is considered the “city of students and science”.
17:00 – Free time for photos and souvenirs.
Finish the walk near the Mirror Stream, where everyone can take their perfect shot for memory.
17:30 – End of the tour.
