The Golden Gates of Kyiv is a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev and historic gateway in the ancient city fortress, located in the capital of Ukraine. Currently it serves as a museum and can be found on the corner of Volodymyr street and Yaroslaviv Val Street (Yaroslav’s Moat). The name Zoloti Vorota is also used for a nearby theatre and a station of the Kiev Metro.
Hedgehog in the fog
The monument to Hedgehog in the fog from the famous Soviet cartoon is located near the Golden Gate in Kyiv. This is one of the most popular art objects in Kyiv. The sculpture was installed in 2009 at the intersection of Zolotovorotskaya, Reitarskaya and Georgievsky lanes.
One of the most popular places, both for a walk for tourists and a weekend or evening out for Kyiv residents. Adults and children come there because there are unique sculptures from fairy tales, nature and amazing views of the city panorama around.
