How to deregister as an IDP: detailed instructions
The International Organization for Migration recently published updated data on the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine. Currently, there are more than 8,000,000 IDPs in Ukraine.
The organization informs that the status of an internally displaced person can be not only acquired, but also canceled if necessary.
"Adopting a decision to revoke the certificate of registration of an internally displaced person at the request of an internally displaced person" - this is how the full name of this procedure is indicated on the website of the State Services of Ukraine.
The application for renunciation of IDP status is one of the grounds for revoking the validity of the IDP certificate and entering information about it into the Unified Information Database.
How to cancel IDP status?
In order to cancel the IDP status, you need to write an appropriate application for refusal of the certificate and personally apply to one of these institutions:
• structural subdivisions on issues of social protection of the population of district state administrations, executive city or district bodies;
• executive bodies of village, settlement, city councils;
• administrative services center.
The procedure for canceling the IDP status is completely free.
How long does it take to cancel IDP status?
The cancellation of the status will take about three days. The decision to cancel the validity of the IDP certificate is made by the head of the structural unit for social protection of the population. You will be notified as soon as the results are ready.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
