Financial assistance to Ukrainians in Croatia: how to get 460 euros

Refugees from Ukraine who live on the territory of Croatia and have received the status of temporary protection can apply for a one-time cash benefit from the state. Learn more about the amount of payments and how to apply for assistance

Ukrainians who have received temporary protection status in Croatia are entitled to one-time financial assistance.


The payment is made per person or per family in the amount of 330 to 460 euros. Monetary assistance is awarded after an interview, the decision on the appointment of financial assistance depends on whether the person has relatives or friends in Croatia, is employed and has income level.


How to apply for financial assistance to Ukrainians in Croatia?


A request for a one-time financial assistance can be submitted to the social worker on duty at Shelter Centers and Collective Housing institutions. If you live in private housing, you can apply at the Center for Social Protection of the Population and its branches in Croatia, their addresses can be found at this link.

The Red Cross also provides assistance to refugees from Ukraine in Croatia. You can get help with food, clothes, medicine. You can make an application using the link.
