Poland
Poland offers connections to many EU countries, the UK, and other popular cities.
The nearest airports to the Ukrainian border are in the Polish cities of Rzeszów and Lublin. From there, a large number of flights are regularly operated by Wizz Air (London, Rome, Burgaz) and Ryanair (Dublin, Milan, London, Gdansk).
However, the largest airport in the country is Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Every day, a huge number of planes from about 40 of the most popular airlines fly from there.
Another developed airport in Poland is the John Paul II Krakow-Balice Airport in Krakow.
Slovakia
When crossing the border through Zakarpattia, you should pay attention to the airport in Kosice, which is located 98 kilometres from Uzhhorod. From there, you can fly to Prague, Dublin, Liverpool and London using Wizz Air and Ryanair.
Romania
When crossing the border through the Chernivtsi region, we recommend going to Stefan the Great Airport in Suceava, which is located just 80 km from Chernivtsi.
At this airport, you can buy tickets to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and France using the services of low-cost airlines Wizz Air and Ryanair.

Moldova
The closest airport to the border is in Chisinau. Starting the journey from Odesa region, travellers will have to drive about 130 kilometres from the Palanca checkpoint.
Wizz Air, Turkish Airlines, Air Moldova and Flyon, as well as Austrian Airlines offer flights to many cities around the world: Istanbul, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Warsaw and other popular destinations.

Hungary
There is a regular train service from the Chop checkpoint to the city of Debrecen, where the airport is located. Debrecen is located about 120 kilometres from the border.
The popular low-cost airline Wizz Air operates regular flights from this airport, which allow you to get to Antalya, Larnaca, London, Tel Aviv, Burgas and other cities.
How to get to the nearest European airports from Ukraine
There are many buses and private flights from Ukraine to the airports of neighbouring countries every day.
Another convenient way to get to Poland is the Intercity train, which runs regularly from Kyiv to Warsaw. It is noted that the journey time is about 15 hours.
To get to Krakow, you can take a connecting flight from Lviv/Kyiv to Przemyśl, then a direct flight from Przemyśl to Krakow.
