Planning a budget for a family vacation is extremely important, especially when traveling with children. Therefore, it is better to know in advance which countries offer affordable prices for family vacations.
Experts in the annual Post Office Family Holiday Report analyzed the cost of services in 16 popular resorts in Europe, paying special attention to those related to family vacations: food, drinks, entertainment for the whole family, as well as ice cream and sunscreen.

Family vacations in Europe: where to travel on a budget
Turkey, Portugal, and Bulgaria are in the top three places.
It is emphasized that prices in European resorts have generally increased due to the general level of inflation on the continent.
Turkish Marmaris turned out to be the most affordable option of all the locations studied. Although prices here have increased compared to last summer, a family vacation still costs 131 euros per day for the whole family. The resort is famous for its beaches, water activities, and affordable food and drink prices.
Portugal's Algarve ranks second in the ranking of affordable resorts, where a day of family vacation will cost about 138 euros.
Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is in third place, and a day for the whole family here will cost about 140 euros.

How to save money while on vacation?
Experts recommend setting a fixed budget for each day of the vacation and, if the child asks for more entertainment for today, offer to postpone some of it to tomorrow.
Also, before choosing a place for dinner, it is worth comparing prices: cafes and restaurants located on the coast can be more expensive, so you should try to find an authentic cafe a little further from the sea. Don't forget to pay in the local currency.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
