Day of Defenders of Ukraine: honoring the courage and devotion of heroes
Today Ukraine celebrates one of the most important days for us and our country - the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. We sincerely congratulate and thank those who gave their lives for our freedom and continue to fight for the future and independence of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our Defenders!
The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is a special holiday when we honor those who stand in defense of our country and our freedom. It is a day when we pay tribute to the soldiers who bear the heavy duty of protecting our citizenship and territorial integrity.
Ukraine has long been going through difficult trials on its way to independence. Our soldiers demonstrate true heroism and courage while protecting the peace and security of our citizens. They go to the forefront and risk their lives so that we can live in peace and security. Thanks to them, our homeland retains its independence.
Why is this day important?
A state without defenders is a piece of land that will sooner or later be occupied by invaders.
That is why today we pay tribute to those who gave their lives defending Ukraine in the turbulent times of the Cossacks, during the liberation struggle of the early 20th century and in the dark times of totalitarianism, and continue to do so today, countering russian aggression.
It is our moral and civic duty to ourselves, our children and future generations to honor the achievements of our ancestors, to see and understand the achievements of our contemporaries and to contribute to the development of our nation.
Whom to congratulate on Defenders' Day
Defender's Day is an important holiday celebrated in honor of those who bravely guard national security and represent Ukraine with dignity in the world. Traditionally, it has been a holiday dedicated to prominent men and boys, but today's reality requires expanding the concept of "defender" to include all those who have made and continue to make a contribution to the defense of the Motherland.
On the Day of Defender of Ukraine, we honor not only the security forces who overcome enemy threats on the front line, but also those who ensure their work from behind - the veterans who defended Ukraine during World War II and the Ukrainian insurgents, who are an integral part of our country's history.
On this day, we should also honor defense industry workers, law enforcement officers, volunteers, border guards, and all those who work for the benefit of the army and the frontline: military medics, medics and cooks.
We pay special attention to the veterans of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) who went to the east of the country in difficult times to defend Ukraine from the enemy.
The Day of Defenders of Ukraine is a holiday that honors the courage, bravery and dedication of those who stand guard over our country. This date reminds us that the peace and security we enjoy depends on the selfless work and sacrifice of the soldiers who give their lives to protect our native Ukraine.
This day also reminds us of the importance of supporting our soldiers and their families. May our combined efforts help create better conditions for those who fight for our freedom.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all the defenders of Ukraine who are heroically performing their duties on the front line and at home. Your courage, self-sacrifice and tireless struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of our country are an example for us all.
With our best wishes, we congratulate all the defenders of Ukraine on this important holiday and thank you for your incomparable courage and service to our country. You are our pride and hope for the future. We wish you peace, safe return and inexhaustible strength in your noble cause.
Glory to Ukraine!
