Hand luggage on airplanes to be made free of charge: when the EU will cancel surcharges

The EU wants to make hand luggage free for air travel: what is known
The European Parliament's Committee on Petitions has unanimously adopted a resolution calling on air carriers to provide their customers with the opportunity to bring hand luggage on board free of charge. This initiative is aimed at solving two key problems.
First, the introduction of common standards would simplify travel for passengers using interconnected flights. Second, it would avoid hidden additional costs that tourists often find out about at the last minute.
Already in 2014, the European Court of Justice recognized that hand luggage of limited size should be available to passengers during air travel. However, this decision was only advisory and was not supported by airlines.
Now this issue is back on the agenda. The authors of the resolution propose to set specific parameters for "smart luggage" and call on all 27 EU member states to adopt uniform rules.
As you know, today each air carrier sets its own requirements for hand luggage that can be taken on board for free.
Usually, the cheaper the ticket, the more the passenger will have to pay for exceeding the limits. This practice is often used by European low-cost airlines. However, passengers often learn about these additional costs only at the check-in counter.
The initiators' proposal for free baggage will be considered in October.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
Self-serve is not allowed.
