Eurovision Song Contest 2024: who made it to the longlist of national selection performers
The list of participants of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024 has been announced. Find out more about who will compete for a place to represent Ukraine at the song contest and when the long-awaited event is scheduled
Suspilne has announced the list of artists included in the longlist of the National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The list of participants is published on the broadcaster's official website.
Eurovision Song Contest 2024: who made it to the national selection longlist
Out of 400 applications, 20 Ukrainian artists were shortlisted, including not only new talents but also those who have already represented Ukraine at Eurovision or participated in previous national selections.
In particular, the longlist includes the following artists:
Duo of rapper alyona alyona and singer Jerry Heil;
Songwriter and artist ANKA;
The solo project of Kalush Orchestra member Carpetman;
Young singer Drevo;
Participant of the shows "X-Factor" and "The Voice" INGRET;
Former member of the band Mirami Julia Belei;
The band KARYOTYPE;
Performer of the Tik-Tok hit "Generator" KRYLATA;
Participant of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 MÉLOVIN;
Duo NAHABA;
Galician-Donbas band NAZVA;
The author and performer of the viral track "Had a tour" PARFENIUK;
Artist SHÉPA;
Performer of the hit song "Evening (Good afternoon Everybody)" SKYLERR;
Participant of "The Voice of the Country" STASYA;
Participant of the shows "X-Factor" and "The Voice" SWOIIA;
Guest singer of the show "Dancing with the Stars" TESLENKO;
Member of the folk band YAGODY;
MEGOGO MUSIC AWARDS nominee in several categories YAKTAK;
Ziferblat, winners of the MUZVAR award in the Best New Alternative Music nomination.

The organizers of the National Selection said that the artists' auditions will last until November 20, after which 10 participants will be selected from the longlist to perform at the National Selection in February.
Performers who do not make it to the finalists after the auditions will have another chance. One more participant will be selected from among them through online rating voting.
When will Eurovision 2024 take place?
The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be held in the Swedish city of Malmö. The semi-finals are scheduled for May 7 and 9, and the grand final will take place on May 11, 2024.
Ukraine has already officially confirmed its participation in the contest.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
