Resumption of flights to Moldova: Wizz Air launches new flights from Chisinau
After canceling all its flights in March 2023, Hungarian airline Wizz Air decided to return to Moldova, introducing new routes. Soon, passengers from Chisinau will be able to use flights to EU countries. Find out when the airline plans to start flights
In December, low-cost airline Wizz Air plans to expand its flight services from Chisinau Airport by introducing three new routes. The airline will operate flights to Milan, London, and Rome.
Here's how much tickets will cost and the flight schedule.
Wizz Air launches three new flights from Chisinau: details
One-way tickets will cost from 28 euros to Milan, from 50 euros to London, and from 45 euros to Rome.
Chisinau - Milan
The first flight from Chisinau to Milan is scheduled for December 14, and flights will be operated weekly, namely on Thursdays.
The flight will depart from Chisinau at 10:10 a.m. and arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport at 11:55 a.m. The flight duration will be 2 hours and 45 minutes. The return flight is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. from Milan Malpensa Airport, arriving in Chisinau at 9:35 a.m. The return flight will last 2 hours and 35 minutes.
Chisinau - Rome
The first flight from Chisinau to Rome will also take place on December 14, and flights will be operated twice a week - on Thursday and Sunday.
Departure from Chisinau on Thursday at 16:25, arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 17:55. Flight duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Return flight at 12:10 from Rome Fiumicino Airport, arriving in Chisinau at 15:50. The return flight lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes.
On Sunday, departure is at 19:00, arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport is at 20:30. The duration of this flight is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The return flight is at 14:45, arriving in Chisinau at 18:25. The return flight lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Chisinau - London
The first flight from Chisinau to London is also scheduled for December 14, and flights will be operated twice a week - on Tuesday and Thursday.
The flight will depart from Chisinau on Tuesday at 12:00 and arrive at London Luton Airport at 13:40. The flight duration is 3 hours and 40 minutes. Return flight at 6:10 from London Luton Airport, arriving in Chisinau at 11:25. The return flight lasts 3 hours and 15 minutes.
On Thursday, departure is at 22:50, arrival at London Luton Airport is at 0:30. The flight duration is 3 hours and 40 minutes. The return flight is at 6:10, arriving in Chisinau at 11:25. The return flight lasts 3 hours and 15 minutes.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.
Hotel guests are obliged to keep the 1.5 meters distance.
