How many declarations have Ukrainian civil servants filed since the beginning of the war?
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the NACP has not controlled the timely submission of declarations by officials. However, Ukrainian public officials have filed almost a million declarations during this period. Find out more about how the number of submitted declarations has changed and whether it is necessary to report on the submission of declarations today
The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has failed to monitor officials' asset declarations in a timely manner since the start of the full-scale invasion. At the same time, Ukrainian civil servants have successfully filed almost a million declarations during this period, according to data from OpenDataBot and information received from the NACP.
Here's a look at how many declarations Ukrainian civil servants filed in 2022 and 2023.
Ukrainian civil servants filed almost a million declarations, although they could have avoided reporting: details
For the whole of 2022 and ten months of 2023, civil servants filed 972,456 declarations.
Compared to the previous year, when 4,272,177 were filed, this figure may seem lower.
It is worth noting that in 2021, the NACP received 4,695 reports of late submission of declarations and 3,805 reports of failure to submit declarations in general.
There were also 46 cases when officials failed to report significant changes in their property status in a timely manner. It should be noted that this applies only to those officials who hold responsible and especially responsible positions.

Is it necessary to report on the submission of the declaration now?
Today, Ukraine has restored responsibility and control over the declaration of officials. Officials must provide information for the first two years of full-scale war by the end of January 2024.
In addition, the declarations for 2022 and 2023 can be corrected before this deadline. As of October 2023, 52,203 corrected declarations had already been submitted.
It is important to note that the late submission of declarations has not been controlled since the beginning of the full-scale invasion due to martial law. However, the obligation of officials to report on their property status and changes therein has not been canceled.
We remind you! The government has authorized the insurance of investments of both Ukrainian and foreign companies against military risks.
