In 2024, Ukrainian drivers will be issued new licences and registration certificates: details
This year, drivers will be issued with a new type of licence and vehicle registration certificate. This innovation was introduced to make it more difficult to produce fake driving licences. Learn more about the updated documents
According to the decision of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the issuance of newly designed driving licences and vehicle registration certificates is being introduced. This initiative is intended to make it more difficult to produce counterfeit documents, which will have a positive impact on the security and trust in the vehicle registration system.
What will change for Ukrainian drivers in 2024?
One of the key changes is the presence of additional security features on the new documents. The forms of licences and certificates will receive a special security marking and a QR code in the lower right corner, which will allow verification of their legitimacy through the online service of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This will not only complicate the possibility of forgery, but will also facilitate quick verification of documents in real time.
New forms of these documents will be issued until they are completely used up. As soon as they are used up, but no later than 01.08.2024, Ukrainian citizens will receive driver's licences and vehicle registration certificates with additional security features.

It is emphasised that the relevant changes to the document forms were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in December 2023. The full implementation of the new standards is scheduled for 1 August 2024, when drivers will be issued licences and certificates with additional security features.
As for the cost and validity of the new licences, they remain unchanged, which is good news for drivers. Citizens will not have to exchange their existing documents for new ones, making the process of implementing the new standards as convenient and cost-effective as possible.
This initiative is an important step forward in ensuring the security and credibility of documents issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and will help combat abuse and forgery.

The simultaneous stay of visitors in the hotel lobby not more than one person per 10 square meters of serviceable area is allowed.
Persons can visit hotels and stay there (outside hotel room) only if they wear respirator or face mask (including homemade mask), so that the nose and mouth are covered.

Online check-in making in advance is recommended to avoid queues at check-in to hotel.
Meals in hotels are provided through meals delivery service to rooms upon prior order or at hotel restaurants situated inside or in open areas, provided the distance of at least 1.5 meters between seats at adjacent tables.
Not more than 4 clients are allowed to stay at the table (excluding children under 14 years old). Unless these tables are separated by a special partition;
