Ryanair, Europe's largest low-cost airline, will suspend flights to Israel starting February 27. Previously, the airline resumed flights to Tel Aviv in early February. This was reported by avianews.com.

We will tell you the reasons for the flight cancelations and when the airline will resume flights.

Ryanair cancels flights to Israel: what is known

In October 2023, after the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, Ben Gurion Airport transferred all international flights to Terminal 3, which has higher fees.

"Ryanair used to operate in the low-cost terminal 1, which is still not open. The only open terminal at Ben Gurion Airport is the expensive Terminal 3. Ryanair remains committed to Tel Aviv and looks forward to resuming flights once Terminal 1 reopens," the airline's press service said.

When will flights resume?

Representatives of the airline expressed hope for a quick resumption of flights after the opening of Terminal 1.

Ryanair apologizes to passengers for any inconvenience. The company emphasizes that it has notified customers of the flight cancelations and offered affordable alternatives.
