Crypto exchange Binance has launched the Binance Refugee Card for refugees from Ukraine who were forced to move to the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) due to the war.
Binance Card was created in partnership with Contis. This will allow displaced Ukrainians to make or receive crypto payments and make purchases at retail outlets in the EEA that accept card payments.
Refugees who contact local non-profit organizations and apply for Binance Refugee Cards will receive 75 BUSD monthly (225 BUSD for three months).
Getting and using virtual and physical Binance Card is free. To receive a card, refugees need to have or register an account on Binance, go through full verification using a Ukrainian document, and link a European phone number to the account. To receive a card, use your current address in an EEA country.
Instructions for receiving:
1) Registration on Binance and passing KYC identity verification (bind European phone number);
2) Order a card through this page;
3) In the "Additional Information" section, indicate the current address for receiving the card;
4) After receiving the card, you will receive 75 BUSD monthly for three months.
