Ukrainians living abroad will have the opportunity to obtain Ukrainian documents in another city in Germany. This was announced by Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Oleksiy Makeyev.

In Munich, the passport service of the State Enterprise "Document" starts operating, which will provide services in a mobile point with minibuses.

Please note! To ensure a safe stay abroad, you should take care of reliable health insurance in advance, which will not only help you maintain your health, but also protect you from unforeseen expenses. You can take out an insurance policy that covers emergency medical care in case of illnesses and accidents, as well as inpatient and outpatient care around the world on the Visit Ukraine website. In addition, on our portal, you can immediately apply for car insurance - the Green Card, which is mandatory in 50 countries, including the EU.

Passport service launches in another German city: where Ukrainians will be able to apply for documents

Starting March 28, a Passport Service mobile office in Munich will officially start operating, offering document processing services in 6 specially equipped minibuses.

Now you can apply for passports in Munich at the following address: Dachauer Straße 122a (in the courtyard of the premises for receiving Ukrainian asylum seekers).

The list of services to be provided is the same as in other centers of the State Enterprise "Document", including the issuance of ID-cards and passports.

According to Makeiev, issuing a passport was the biggest and most frequent problem for Ukrainian citizens in Germany. In 2023 alone, Document issued more than 170,000 passports, ID cards, or driver's licenses at passport services in Berlin and Cologne.

We remind you! Earlier, we wrote that men of military age who left the country after February 24, 2022, may be subject to termination of social support payments in Germany. Find out more about who exactly may be affected by the changes in our article.
