HELP

In cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy, the Italian Department of Civil Protection, as well as a number of Italian NGOs and the Ukrainian public in Italy, a platform was launched to provide financial assistance to Ukrainian citizens arriving after February 24, 2022 and temporarily under international protection.

You can apply for assistance for yourself, children and minors for whom you are a guardian. Only the parent for whom the child was previously registered in the database can receive the benefit for minor children. Personal data of minor children who arrived in Italy accompanied by their parents are automatically entered into the database. Parents only need to fill out an application.

To receive financial assistance, you must first apply for a residence permit under the temporary protection program. This should be done by the police department - in the Immigration Service - at your location (Questura - Ufficio Immigrazione). This will give you an Italian identification number (Codice Fiscale), which will allow you to log in to the online platform of the Department of Civil Protection and apply for cash benefits. The deadline for submitting a request for financial assistance is September 30, 2022. Payment of benefits will be made monthly, only within three months from the date specified in the certificate of application for a residence permit for temporary protection.

You can fill in the application for financial aid here. In case of a technical problem, you can contact support by sending an email to [email protected] You will be contacted as soon as possible to help resolve the issue.

To pay the allowance for one month, you must have an apartment in a home that you have found yourself and which is not provided by the state. The total length of stay must be at least 10 days in one month. Under this condition, you can apply for assistance for three months. The date for the start of the benefit will be the date indicated in the certificate of application for a temporary residence permit.

Cash benefits are 300 euros per month per adult. Parents or legal guardians of persons under the age of 18 are entitled to an additional benefit of EUR 150 per month per minor. For example, an adult who is the guardian of a minor will be able to receive a benefit of € 450 per month.

Financial assistance can be obtained from the moment you receive a message from the Italian Post (Poste Italiane) on your mobile phone. Usually, if you apply for cash benefits by the 20th of the current month, you will be able to receive benefits in the first 10 days of the following month. You can get cash benefits at any post office. Remember that you need to have: your ID card - the same one you used to apply for a temporary residence permit; a certificate containing your Italian identification number.

You can only get help in person. From the moment you receive a message from the Italian Post (Poste Italiane) you have two months to receive the payment of cash benefits. Upon expiration of this period, the payment of cash benefits will be canceled.
