Ukrainians and foreign citizens have the opportunity to change their sole proprietorship data online through the state service portal Diia. However, only part of the data can be changed. Thus, the following data are subject to updating:

– data on types of economic activity (classifier of economic activities (NACE))

– contact information;

– FULL NAME

– location of the sole proprietorship.

You can make changes to a sole proprietorship online even if this sole proprietorship was registered offline.

Please note: you can change your taxpayer number or passport data only offline, by personally contacting the state registrar at the ASC.

Read here how to submit sole proprietorship reports through the tax application.

How much does it cost to change sole proprietorship data?

Changing contact information and NACE is free of charge, but changing the full name and place of registration is subject to payment of an administrative fee, which amounts to UAH 230.

Step-by-step instructions for changing data online

Please note that a person needs an electronic signature to change their sole proprietorship data. Read here how a foreigner can obtain a qualified electronic signature (QES) in Ukraine.

To change your sole proprietorship data, follow these steps:

1. Log in (or register) in the citizen's account.

2. Fill out the online form for the service and sign the application with Diia.Signature or another electronic signature of an individual.

Important! If you are a single tax payer, after making changes to the type of activity (NACE), full name or location of the sole proprietorship, an application will automatically be sent to the tax office (you can check the result of the tax processing of the application in the taxpayer's office, in the section Taxpayer credentials). Diia will also automatically (without the applicant's personal application) send the application to the Unified State Register (USR) for amendments. If you have chosen the simplified taxation system, the Register will transfer the data to the tax office at the place of registration of the sole proprietorship or at the place of business.

3. Check the status of the application in the citizen's account in the Services - Ordered services section (you will be notified of the result by e-mail and in the citizen's account). An extract of changes to the sole proprietorship can be obtained in the Citizen's Account in the Received documents section.

Please note! The online extract has the same legal force as the one issued at the ASC. It can be printed and used as needed.

If the person was denied to make changes, the reasons for the denial will be sent to the mail and to the citizen's personal account. After the reasons for the refusal are eliminated, the person may reapply for changes to the sole proprietorship.

Remember! The current legislation of Ukraine allows you to register a sole proprietorship under a simplified procedure online. However, a large number of nuances regarding the choice of KVED and taxation system can cause errors and problems during registration. Visit Ukraine lawyers will help entrepreneurs register their business quickly, easily and correctly.
