From Kiev to Berlin: the most convenient ways to get to the German capital

Berlin is one of the most popular European cities among Ukrainian refugees and tourists. In today's realities, it is impossible to reach the German border from Ukraine by direct flights, but there are other convenient options. Find out how to get from Kiev to Berlin and how much it will cost to travel
Many Ukrainians decided to come to their homeland on the eve of Easter holidays, but as soon as they pass the question of returning back to Europe, where Ukrainian citizens are under temporary protection due to the war at home, will arise.
Given that Ukraine's airspace has been closed for more than two years, the most common modes of transport for Ukrainians who want to travel abroad have been bus flights and railways.
Since most Ukrainians abroad are now living in Germany, we decided to tell you what is the most convenient way to get from Kiev to Berlin.
How to get from Kiev to Berlin by bus?
At the moment there are various bus carriers travelling in Ukraine and abroad, which open flights to the most popular cities in Europe.
For example, Flixbus offers two direct flights from Kiev to Berlin. The buses depart daily from the Central Bus Station of Kiev (Nauki Avenue 1) at 7:05 and 7:40, arriving at the central bus station of Berlin the next day at 7:10 and 7:35 respectively. The journey time is approximately 25 hours. Ticket prices start from UAH 2,500.
Euroclub and Klr Bus companies offer one flight per day from the bus station "Kiev" (S. Petliura Street, 32). The first one departs daily at 7:50 and travels to Berlin for about 22 hours (price from 3200 UAH), and the second one leaves Kiev at 12:30, travelling for 28 hours (price from 3450 UAH).

From Kiev to Berlin by train
It should be noted that there is no direct connection between the two capitals yet, but it is possible to get there by railway with connections, as there are a number of international trains running from Ukraine.
Here are some options on how to get from Kiev to Berlin by train:
Kiev - Peremyshl - Berlin
You can get from Kiev to Peremyshl by Intercity+ train #705. The train leaves Kiev at 20:05 and arrives in Peremyshl at 4:25. The journey time is 9 hours and 25 minutes. Ticket prices start from UAH 1366 for second class carriages and from UAH 1946 for first class carriages.
In Peremyshl you need to change to the direct train EC56 to Berlin. It departs at 7:17 and arrives at 17:06. The ticket price is about 200 PLN. Tickets can be purchased on the website of the Polish carrier.
Kiev - Warsaw - Berlin
First from Kiev you need to get to Warsaw by train #67. It departs daily at 18:19 and arrives at Warsaw-Eastern station at 10:17 the next day. The journey time is 16 hours and the ticket price is about 2000 hryvnia.
The nearest train from Warsaw-East station departs at 12:20 and arrives in Berlin at 18:06. The journey time is about 6 hours. There is also a train departing at 16:20 and arriving in Berlin at 22:06. The price of the ticket, which is also available on the website of the Polish carrier, is about 1500 UAH.
