Men who risk having their bank accounts blocked due to non-payment of fines for violating military registration will still be able to pay off their loans through a special account. This information is confirmed by responses from technical support representatives of Ukrainian banks, Delo.ua reports.

We will tell you how it will work and how military users can close their loans in the article below.

How to pay off loans if the account is blocked: answers from Ukrainian banks

According to representatives of FUIB, the account will be blocked by the decision of the State Executive Service, and the funds will be recovered on the basis of the relevant payment instruction from it.

If the client needs to repay the loan, a "transit" account will be created to which funds can be transferred specifically to repay the debt. The bank can inform the client about this in person or offer this option via chat support.

Monobank provides information that the funds can be returned through a special account using the card number or IBAN, even if the payment is made by a third party, with a comment on the purpose of the payment.

If it is a fine payment and not a loan repayment, the details should be checked with the Enforcement Service.

A-Bank refused to comment on the situation, citing the fact that the relevant law has not yet entered into force.

It is known that on May 9, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law that increases fines for violations of military registration during the war and for evading mobilization to UAH 17-25 thousand, and the decision on them will be made by the Military Commissariat without a protocol and the presence of the offender.

However, due to the huge size of the fines, many citizens are likely to simply not have enough money to pay them, which could lead to the blocking of their accounts as part of the enforcement procedure.
