Ukrainian domestic government bonds are bought in 25 countries. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
In particular, the largest number of investors in domestic government bonds are in Japan, Germany and the United States.
“Since the beginning of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, many foreign citizens have expressed a desire to support our country. Since September 2023, the government bond market for foreign individuals has become available remotely,” the agency said in a statement.
It is emphasized that investments in Ukrainian government bonds not only demonstrate support for the country during the war. These bonds are a reliable financial instrument, which is confirmed by many economic indicators.

The high liquidity of Ukrainian government bonds is also important for investors.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the state budget has raised more than UAH 1 trillion through the issuance of bonds.
Government bonds have become the second largest source of financing for the state budget during this period.
