Trains from Ukraine to Poland will be running with changes until the end of summer: new timetable and reasons

Passengers planning to travel to Warsaw and Lublin by train this summer will face changes. Find out which trains will change their schedule, who will have to make additional transfers and when the old train schedule will be restored

From June 23 to August 31, passengers traveling to Warsaw and Lublin on Ukrzaliznytsia's connecting trains should pay attention to important changes in their routes. According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, this is due to repair work at the Chełm station in Poland. Trains №23 Kyiv - Chełm, №93/94 Kharkiv - Chełm, and №120 Chełm - Dnipro will run to/from the Dorohusk border station.


Main changes in the routes of trains Ukraine-Poland


Border and customs control:

Passengers will pass control in the Ukrzaliznytsia train as usual. Transfers to Polish trains to/from Warsaw will be made at Dorohusk station.


Shift 1: №93/23 Kharkiv/Kyiv - Dorohusk


Two-group train No. 93/23 Kharkiv/Kyiv-Dorohusk will arrive at Dorohusk station at 06:45. Border and customs control will last until 08:15.

The connecting train to Warsaw TLK 25150 will depart from Dorohusk at 08:43 (Helm 09:31 - 09:36), arriving at Warsaw Skhodnia station at 12:31.


Shift 2: №120/94 Dorohusk - Dnipro / Kharkiv


The two-group train 120/94 Dorohusk - Dnipro / Kharkiv will be available for boarding at Dorohusk station until 11:00. Control operations will begin after 11:00.

The connecting train from Warsaw IC 12100 will arrive in Dorohusk at 09:57 (Helm 09:34 - 09:40), departing from Warsaw Central at 06:40, Warsaw Vskhodna at 06:49.


Transfer at Dorohusk station is a necessary temporary measure. The station will be available only for coordinated transfers between two trains, without the possibility of leaving it by another means of transport. Polish railway workers will help passengers transfer from one train to another.

On which trains are there no changes?


Trains №19/20 Kyiv - Chełm, №119 Dnipro - Chełm, №24 Chełm - Kyiv will run to Chełm station without any changes in the timetable. The direct train No. 67/68 Kyiv - Warsaw - Kyiv will not be affected.


Completion of repair works


Repair works at Helm station will last until August 30. You can view the schedule and buy tickets in the app and on the website of Ukrzaliznytsia.
