On June 18, a QR code was added to the Reserve+ application, which gives the electronic military registration document the same legal force as a paper document. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko on her Facebook page.

Electronic military ID card QR code and Reserve+: new opportunities

As of today, the electronic military registration document is already available in Reserve+. This is another step towards full digitalization in Ukraine, as citizens liable for military service no longer need to carry a paper military ID card.

Reserve+ has also introduced the "Correct Data Online" feature. This service is available to citizens in the following cases:

– If the serviceman is still registered: this function is relevant for those whose current status was not reflected in the Oberig register.

– If no data was found: for all persons liable for military service who received a notification in the Reserve+ app.

Read this article to find out what the statuses mean when updating data.

How to update data?

Citizens can fill out an application for data correction, which will be submitted to the Oberig register. The information will be updated remotely.

Important! To take advantage of all the new features, including the QR code, you need to update the Reserve+ application.

Legalization of an electronic document

The introduction of a QR code in Reserve+ automatically eliminates the need to carry paper military registration documents. Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on an electronic military document that will be recognized by all authorities, including the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS).

A letter was sent to the SBGS with instructions that the electronic document can be scanned without additional readers, confirming its authenticity and legality, which will allow citizens liable for military service to cross the border. This means that the statement made earlier by the State Border Guard Service regarding the mandatory availability of paper military registration documents will no longer be valid.

We remind you! The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted amendments to the regulations governing military registration and mobilization. Read what has changed and how the innovations will simplify the registration procedure for Ukrainians abroad in our previous article.
