Ukraine-Mauritius Visa Waiver Agreement: What Opportunities Does It Offer?
The agreement opens up new opportunities for business and investment between the two countries. At the first stage, it will facilitate visits of Mauritian investors to Ukraine, which will allow them to seek new opportunities for cooperation. After the war in Ukraine is over, the agreement will also help increase the number of Ukrainian tourists visiting Mauritius.

The agreement will enter into force after the completion of internal procedures in both countries.
During the talks, the Ministers also discussed the deepening of trade and economic relations. They agreed to prepare agreements on mutual promotion and protection of investments and avoidance of double taxation. These steps will help attract investment to Ukraine and its post-war reconstruction.

Cooperation in education
In addition to signing a visa-free agreement, the ministers agreed to expand cooperation between Sumy State University and Mauritius' Whitefield Business School. This will strengthen academic ties and create new opportunities for students of both countries.
It should be noted that Mauritius is a leading country in the ranking of global competition and ease of doing business among African countries and is an important partner for Ukraine in the context of economic cooperation with Africa. The signing of the visa-free agreement was another step in strengthening these relations.
We remind you!
